This is why nothing gets done in this country. It’s a zero-sum game. No compromise, no meeting in the middle, no concession, no “hrm, maybe I’m wrong about this one”. Just “I’m right and you’re not only wrong but also stupid and irredeemable.”
It’s a race to the bottom and we all lose.
I try to meet in the middle. Like I said I am open to voting for Republicans.
