Not only are they blank, but if this were my set I would fire the propmaster for lack of realism. They are that fake.

Oh.

Aren’t lay laying face down?

Nah, I did a lot of working with print stuff in university and I can almost guarantee that’s all brand new unprinted paper that’s not been handled or run through a printer. You’d definitely see text through the back of the top sheet. Plus, no staples? Maybe three paper clips? The folders are all just unmarked and unbound? No way would professional documents of any importance be handled like that.

Okie doke!

so, the whole ‘you’re a racist’ part of that is wildly inaccurate, and makes it hard to take the first part seriously. but i do recognize that there is some truth to the first part about blame on bush and Russia. that doesn’t mean that blame is wrong, but i do recognize that it exists. (if anything, i think Obama has a very good message on racism. did you even listen to his farewell address? you would probably like it).

ferris might like it if it was given by someone else and the words were identical. He’s incapable of rational thought when it comes to Obama.

I’m thinking some of you aren’t getting the fact that Obama is pointing a finger at whoever is in front of him, which would be the reader of the meme, and that is where they “you’re a racist” comment comes in. It does make sense, it just depends on how one “looks” at it.

so Obama is calling me a racist… nope, still standing by my original comment.

I don’t know if Obama has ever really taken a hard stance on race, he usually brushes it aside from what I’ve witnessed. He disagreed with Jimmy Carter when Carter suggested a lot of pushback had to do with his race and he also seemed to respond to the famous “Bill Clinton was the first black president” pretty well. Maybe this general brushing aside of race has helped to heighten racial tensions that we’re seeing today? I’m not sure.

Obama, as the nation’s first black president, was/is in an impossible position. Do too much and he pisses off white people. Do too little and he pisses off black people.

Here is what i am referring to when i say i think Obama had some good things to say about race in his farewell address:

President Obama’s Farewell Address: Full Video and Text:

But laws alone won’t be enough. Hearts must change. It won’t change overnight. Social attitudes oftentimes take generations to change. But if our democracy is to work the way it should in this increasingly diverse nation, then each one of us need to try to heed the advice of a great character in American fiction, Atticus Finch, who said “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view, until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.”

For blacks and other minority groups, that means tying our own very real struggles for justice to the challenges that a lot of people in this country face. Not only the refugee or the immigrant or the rural poor or the transgender American, but also the middle-aged white guy who from the outside may seem like he’s got all the advantages, but has seen his world upended by economic, and cultural, and technological change.

We have to pay attention and listen.

(APPLAUSE)

For white Americans, it means acknowledging that the effects of slavery and Jim Crow didn’t suddenly vanish in the ’60s; that when minority groups voice discontent, they’re not just engaging in reverse racism or practicing political correctness; when they wage peaceful protest, they’re not demanding special treatment, but the equal treatment that our founders promised.

For native-born Americans, it means reminding ourselves that the stereotypes about immigrants today were said, almost word for word, about the Irish, and Italians, and Poles, who it was said were going to destroy the fundamental character of America. And as it turned out, America wasn’t weakened by the presence of these newcomers; these newcomers embraced this nation’s creed, and this nation was strengthened.

hopefully, the Dems will filibuster any attempt to repeal Obamacare.

Trump tweets to support LL Bean, but links to the one lady on the board who actually likes him’s side company selling lobsters, somehow screwing over LL Bean because now people will boycott it while promoting her personal business.

Good use of power there, Trump.

That lady also called people boycotting LL Bean “bullies,” which is rather amazing.

Obamacare has already been effectively repealed. Now 52 million people are going to die, and the Dems can’t or won’t do anything about it. I doubt they will even exist four years from now.
