The Clone Wars cartoon Anakin is so divorced from the PT Anakin- I’m shocked Lucas never noticed.
He is and isn’t at the same time. Lucas was one movie short to show him in a different light. There are actually many scenes in AOTC/ROTS when you get to see the TCW/CW Anakin, but it’s not the majority. At least we’ve got quite good cartoons to complete the “PT puzzle”, with fanedited versions of the movies it even works quite well in spite of flaws that cannot be solved.
