UK homes are not the same as US homes.
So the cats that are doing the business will be owned by people very very close. Sending them to a kennel is pointless. Particularly seeing as someone is killing these poor things by feeding them anti-freeze.
It’s hardly going to add to the community spirit if you capture a cat and send it to a kennel when the person who owns it lives literally yards away from your own house, probably.
