I think that some people have allowed them to take over their lives. It’s like they’re always on their phones.
This is definitely true. As you get more and more recent in terms of generation, this increases. Lotta parents raising their kids on phones and tablets. Lotta people in my generation can’t leave theirs at home (myself included, though I do try to stay off of it when I’m in an interaction scenario).
I dunno if anyone actually watched the video I posted in the Gen X Thread, but the guy goes into it quite a bit, and I think he was pretty close to the mark.
Also: I replaced my oil today and now my car won’t start. One is not the symptom of the other, but it’s very annoying either way.
