I've never read his Ep. 1 review before until now. He definately gave it a lot of credit, while still discounting some things. I think if I were him, I would have been a bit more harsh about Jar Jar, the Gungans, the underwater scene, the Nemoidians, ummm and Jake Lloyd and Natalie's acting.

But I still liked the fights and underlying story in Ep. 1, so I understand that part of his review. The ranking of Ep. 1 right under Empire Strikes Back made me

Even still, I'm going to keep a good outlook on Ep. III.
