Hey gang check out this site (It's still kinda in a beta state) - I was approached by a fellow Star Wars fan (Justin S.) that has helped contribute to past Lineups at the Grauman Chianese Theater well their group helps make donations to Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation and when I was asked if I could help with a new Project they had cooking up I said SURE!!!!

So, after a few phone calls and many emails with Justin and his friends - I found out that they were planning on broadcasting the actual lineup via web cams and they had also planned to broadcast STAR WARS content for those waiting in line via WIFI, stuff like interviews, documentaries and other rare Star Wars jems they also plan on putting a documentary of the whole "liningup" event.

Well ANYWAY...

I've now contributed over 24 DVD's of Doc's and other rare Star Wars titles and also 2 DVD's full of all the Fan Films I could get my hands on to help out. They will be streaming the DVD's for fans of the line to help them pass the time!

Give em a call to show your support!

- the number for the pay phone outside the Grauman's Chinese Theater is (323) 462-9609

Stop by and check it out!

http://liningup.net/ and the http://www.firstcutlive.tv/liningup site!

LiningUp TV is the interactive broadcasting portal for LiningUp.net’s 2005 charity drive, during which hundreds of fans line up for six weeks outside the famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. to see the premier of the final Star Wars episode, and to raise money for the California-Arizona-Nevada chapter of the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation. LiningUp.net raised $75,000 for the Starlight Starbright chapter during the previous two Star Wars premiers in 1999 and 2002, and it hopes to raise at least $50,000 more this year. LiningUp TV is broadcast on First Cut Live, a network of Continental Vista Broadcasting Group.

BEST OF LUCK!

And MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU ALL!!!!!!

I've never been one for standing in long movie lines (I've not been to a theater since TPM except for Finding Nemo), but I have to say it's kinda funny to support people who are standing in the wrong line. From what I've seen of the new theater that is playing ROTS, I can understand why Lucas changed venues (after all, what is "tradition" to a guy who wipes his hands of the original SW films.)

But, I digress......

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.
