It sounds like their plan is to double down on the video game cutscenes. Maybe PIXAR can take over at some point.
Seeing as how Disney is undoubtedly not going to wait until the technology is ready I hope they at least can touch up the CGI characters in subsequent releases of the films that implement this technique…which could be every damn one of them for all we know.
