I think that some people have allowed them to take over their lives. It’s like they’re always on their phones.

This is definitely true. As you get more and more recent in terms of generation, this increases. Lotta parents raising their kids on phones and tablets. Lotta people in my generation can’t leave theirs at home (myself included, though I do try to stay off of it when I’m in an interaction scenario).
I dunno if anyone actually watched the video I posted in the Gen X Thread, but the guy goes into it quite a bit, and I think he was pretty close to the mark.
Also: I replaced my oil today and now my car won’t start. One is not the symptom of the other, but it’s very annoying either way.

Lotta people in my generation can’t leave theirs at home (myself included, though I do try to stay off of it when I’m in an interaction scenario).
I don’t think that is a problem. I take my phone with me(even though it isn’t really a smart phone) whenever I got out. You never know when an emergency might happen and you’ll need to dial 911 or call home or something.

Ironic story as quite a while back, I mounted a earth transport shuttle, there directly opposite me in the seating area was a lady with a upset baby. She then proceeded to pull down her shirt and cardigan and started breast feeding the little one, and thankfully it stopped crying. The only thing that un-nerved me was when I noticed that she had her other brest hanging out aswell.
I remember when I was a young party goer. I was really drunk waiting for the city bus after bar close and he blew right by me and kept going. I was so ticked off. I hate it when that happens.

The Chateau is in a small crescent. The number of cats has been growing steadily over the years as well as the inevitable mess.
I’ve spent a fortune on every kind of humane deterrent going.
Now someone is poisoning the cats.
I love wildlife and I hate what cats do to it but I would never hurt a creature like that.
Can’t you just have the cats removed from your house? Turn them over to a kennel or something like that?
It’s a very small crescent. The owner would probably be feet away. Which is making this whole anti-freeze poisoning thing all the more disturbing.
