X:
"MY DADDY WILL NEVER DIE! YOU HEAR ME, GOD? NEVER!"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj0h_01wXyEThis seems a bit inappropriate as a follow-up post to someone saying they lost their father this year.
It could be taken that way, but was not meant to be hurtful and unfeeling.
Mind telling me exactly wtf it was meant to be then? What was the point in posting this?
It’s called “levity”.
Y:
Oh so you are just being a dick then.
It does and you are.
Savages in action again.
Sorry, we’ll try to start insulting the recently deceased and claiming we’re never wrong, just like you do. I keep forgetting that’s what makes you the only civilized person here.
To be clear, that video was NOT insulting the recently deceased or people in mourning over a lost father. The video was showing how some people (Stephen Colbert’s character) try and control how others should feel and morn when they themselves have not and could not begin to deal with the death of their loved one. The video was supporting the right to mourn as one see fit. But of course over sensitive people made it into something it was not.
X and Y are quite different. Y much more effectively clears it up. X does not.
