okay you must have missed the point...
im simply saying that those who didnt grow up with the movies since a young age cannot and does not have any say in what those who have grown up with them feel...
you said "Makes me glad I didn't see Star Wars (any of them) until I was fifteen." therefore you don't know how much this movie has meant to people who saw it at the age of lets say 7 or 8 and have supported it through and through...
those fans of us who have stuck by these movies over the years and have literally made it a part of our life cant help but feel a little abandoned by the person who made us love them
its like two loving parents raising a child and then getting a divorce one day and saying that their mother/father was never their type in the first place...
may not seem like the same thing to you but its just as much of a shock!
and if you dont agree thats fine... your entitled to your opinion....
