what have you got to lose? you dont know her now so if shes not interested you might gain a friend....or a girlfriend...
definitely ask her out for coffee its an excellent icebreaker...but don't rush things.....you might want a couple of pseudo-dates first of all..dont expect to get kissing on the first or second date - use this time to suss her out....you might find her personality unattractive, but i cant stress enough DONT RUSH THINGS......girls like to be romanced...the worst thing you can do is come across like a desperate bunny-boiler (im talking from experience here
