You could insert a hyperspace effect and have it end on Jyn waking up in the cell as if it was a dream.
There is scenes of Jyn in a cell on Yavin with her Handcuffs on so it might be that she had her flashback on Yavin Base,
“Can you be trusted without your shackles?”
Basically until someone goes over the re-shoot story we won’t really know how different the original cut was. The Novel has a pretty good synopsis like a crawl too.
