Read my second edit above. I wrote it before seeing your post, and I think that should set things straight. What I wrote had nothing to do with SW. It is my general comment on people rating stuff (teachers rating students, ratings on various contests etc...)

Edit: Talking about scientific ridiculness, have you ever thought that a Laser beam should not be visible to anyone unless you are the one being killed by it?
