I think his age may have something to do with it, too. He's in his mid 60's, I think. He was like 27-29 when he made episode IV. And, last time I saw him he did not look like he's aging well.

I think your math is faulty. He was directing ANH in like 1976-1979, right? If he's in his "mid-sixties" now, that would make him forty years older...

It's kinda hard to age forty years in a twenty-year period.

Unless he took up smoking.
