How do you guys feel seeing stuff on the trailers that aren’t in the film? I think it’s very misleading, I’ve been wondering a long time what all the snippets meant and was looking forward to the subway scene and many others. I mean seriously, like 95% of the dialogue and over half of the stuff shown in advance wasn’t in the movie.
I really hope the BD contains a lot of deleted footage.
It’s not misleading if that’s what was in the movie when they cut the trailer. Besides, I’d much rather have a trailer of things not in the movie that give me a flavor of what the movie is about than a trailer that’s just the best parts.
It is since you’re making to believe stuff happens in the movie that doesn’t. We all know the plot and yes, the trailer gives you an idea what’s it like, but like I said I think most of what we heard/saw wasn’t in the movie. Of course I understand the film making process but from a marketing point of view, you’ve been teased with stuff that isn’t there. I mean, I think it’s a great movie and I like being surprised and not shown best bits, but I did saw great bits that actually aren’t in the movie! They’re still showing deleted stuff in TV ads etc.
Kudos to them not spoiling any more surprises, cameos or funny lines in the trailers though.
