Will there be a final definitive despecialized edition at some point ?
Right now ESB v2.5 is in the works. After that, the next releases will be version 3.0 for all 3 films, in 1080p I believe.
I also think that Harmy will be using poita’s scans for Empire Strikes Back when he makes 3.0.

The true definitive version will be version 3.33: You Can (Not) Redo.
He will now add the subtitle to note that he will no longer redo any of the Despecialized Editions when 3.33 comes out.
