I would prefer Rey, Snoke, Finn, Poe, etc. unrelated to any known character. The galaxy is wide, bring fresh blood. I don’t understand the buzz around Rey’s parents: I really don’t give a shit about her parents. Have we met Obi-Wan’s parents ? Yoda’s ? Han’s ? Chewie’s ?
We did meet Chewie’s dad once. 😉

I should really watch the Holiday Special again. I’ve only watched it twice in full (I’ve shown my friends the Holo-porn and the holo-circus many times though), and both times were back in 2014.

I’m not sure I would have noticed if I hadn’t been listening for it, but a “listen for a reference” might have been enough clues.
