Is the censor bar supposed to be over his forehead? (even if he’s supposed to be “thinking” it, it might work better over his mouth)

IMO it works the first time anyway. Most people think with their heads, not their mouths.

And beyond that, the different locations for the censor bar is part of the joke. Early on there’s a shot where R-20,000 swears but he’s off camera, so I put a censor bar over one of Obi-Wan’s cockpit displays instead. It doesn’t make sense from a logic standpoint but that’s part of the joke.

Heck, I think I’ve used the censor bar on R2 himself and he doesn’t even have a mouth. Technically I should put it over his speaker…?

God bless the Garmin Nuvi for giving me the idea for that name.

yeah, took a bit to get the connection (although i had a guess based on your color palette) Probably a good idea to lead into it a bit more. although an argument could probably be made that the joke may work better as an ‘ahah’ once the audience is clued in? probably not a good argument though, confusing the audience is a bad idea.

Are there any shots were they look up? You could have them reacting to Anakin’s ship arriving.

JEDIT:Scratch that idea, as Lucas didn’t do a bunch of shots of Ani’s ship flying in for a change. 😉

Actually, I did find a great shot of Sam looking up to the clouds…there is one shot of Ani’s ship flying to the planet, no reason Sam can’t see into space 😉

i dunno seems pretty clearly connected to me. although the audio, i had to listen a second time (and carefully) to make out Sam’s ‘oh no’. maybe i am just getting old and deaf.

i loved the ‘intruder alert’ bit at the end.
