When I took a screenshot of DVD player the image did show, but only shows up as a stupid grey rectangle. Am i doing something wrong?

A lot of DVD programs block screen captures for copyright reasons. Try using VLC Player and it’s built in screen capture.

If I want to screenshot a cool frame while playing something in VLC, I just go full screen, hit the print screen button, open up paint, then paste, and then save it as a JPEG.

You don’t just use the screenshot tool built into the program that saves a full size shot automatically? It would save you at least 4 steps there.
