Yeah you have to go to the language options on the 2004 DVD menu on the Dagobah themed menu to see the extended lift up of R2-D2 poking his head in the window. It’s totally re-framed but I think it works better in that framing too.
Nice, as well as Darth Vader and Luke duel; but they are on ESB DVD - that’s why I haven’t found them before! 😄 I guess it it’s possible to use them somewhere, along with other DVD menus - a new idea, I like it!
Also, I guess if there are some live action sequence from official videogames that could be used as well - with same characters of the saga, of course.
Thanks for the links; now I’m watching other clips, and I think many are from the same sources. I’ll take a look at these tomorrow.
How would any of these be included?
R2-D2 and C-3PO meet BB-8 in a desert environment O2 commercial (00:32) *****
BB-8 hacking a computer, while Chewie waits for him Verizon TV spot (00:21) ****
BB-8 piloting an X-wing Jeep commercial (00:15) ****
You could take a look at the commercials on youtube; frankly I saw TFA once when it came out, so I can’t be sure if/where to put these, but the quality is very good, and * maybe * could fit in the story… that’s why I put them in the evaluation list; but I think it could be OK to use them, it’s a fan edit, after all!
UPDATE
I finally found the Episode 3 ‘extended Count Dooku duel’ from the videogame… it’s just 3s shot, but, as it’s Christopher Lee, and it fits quite well, I decided to put it in; original quality is low, so final result isn’t perfect - it’s in color, at least - but we are talking about a 2005 PS2 game, and the cinematic sequence is also windowboxed… you find the test clip here, as well as in the first post!
