Somehow I expected a less prosaic reason… but that makes perfect sense considering this was the company that would later turn the Gamorrean Guard into Friar Tuck.
But Ben’s lightsaber was blue. Why not give him a yellow lightsaber, too? Interestingl, the Luke and Ben large size action figures (dolls) had blue lightsabers.
A bit late replying here, but the 12" Ben Kenobi had a greenish yellow saber.
