Word is that half of the film was a re-shoot after the studio was not happy with it. Not always the case, but the vast majority of the time that is a really bad sign.

My source who has seen part of the film says it looks good but the writing is garbage. Just more nostaligia fanfic nonsense. Take it as you want.

I don’t want. I’ll wait until I see it myself, rather than trust some person on the internet who may or may not actually have a legitimate source and also thought TFA was garbage.

Well it is pretty stupid to judge a character (or a movie) from one screenshot. I nearly fell into that trap myself but GoG is one of the few Marvel movies I enjoyed.

Well I didn’t judge the entire movie based off that screenshot, since I didn’t even know if it was Star Wars or not. But I disagree with your premise. If visuals give off different tones throughout the film, it stands to reason that either:

1. the director has no clue what he’s doing (a la prequels Lucas)
   or
2. 20 different people are writing the script and it’s just an amalgamation of a bunch of disparate ideas

3. We don’t actually know how the whole thing pieces together, and those tonal differences may not be as extreme as a series of images suggests.

People have stated that the preview shown in Mexico was a promo edit and scenes are missing. Take that review with a pinch of Salt. If you are right and I agree with you it looks great but essentially it’s a clanger… But right now I have hope. 😃

There has been about 4-5 writers doing bit’s on it some of them very, very talented.

I Trust Gareth and Gilroy to pull this off, It’s really ambitious much more so than TFA

I’ll go on the record to say I wish we got proper conversation in the trailers to get a sense of how well the characters work together but this has been better than TFA trailers in that regard. Much more conversation but could do with more.

If there are name cards for the planets then you know that Gareth Edwards lost control. Seriously Doubt he would do that.
