I am Joshing but I’ll site the identity crisis now and It’s due to it being complicated but I hope they can handle it better somehow at the last moment as the film does look really good.

Don’t forget to add the last part where I explained that I was “Joshing” that means joking around I am pretty calm and having a giggle. I’m not that serious about it.

I didn’t quote the last sentence because it didn’t make any sense (what identity crisis? what being complicated?) and it was unclear to me what if anything you were “Joshing” about. I assumed you meant about doing away with the end credits too but it seemed like the rest of your post was quite serious in its misguided criticism of a film no one has seen yet.

That’s ok I am really excited for this film, I have quite high hopes for it. I just don’t want for it to be Normal or ordinary in terms of Style I want it to retain at least something that makes it feel like traditional Star Wars.

The End credits comments I made, I will stand by we have all been trained that as soon as the text starts to roll it’s time to get out of the cinema. Although I am joking about again I think it would be really interesting to see in the cinema if the last shot was the first shot from Star Wars (episode IV) with the credits rolling over it. Even if nothing happened it would be interesting to see how many people would stick around in anticipation and how many people would just get up and leave oblivious and without any anticipation about it. Even if only to Separate Long Time Fan’s from new ones. It’s all just amusing fun.

The Identity crisis comment really relates to having heard that they spent ages discussing how they were going to deal with Anthology movies for 2 years and how the Anthology films should be handled. And it seems the answer in terms of retaining a stylistic Format similar to what Star Wars films have had in them up until now has been thrown out the window which was not at all concrete we knew the Crawl was probably going but not everything else.

So it really seems like a Star Wars Genre film won and the normal Star Wars rules are gone. This ones a war movie. Next one might be a detective story. Then a Romance. Then a western And finally a horror Star Wars film perhaps. So that looks like what the idea is and it’s become “tell this genre in the Star Wars universe”. And throw out the rule book.

The Plot and locations could be complicated and the Crawl obviously did not cut the mustard.
