Wow. We’re already at over 160 people asking for an invite to the private topic. The good news is that, inspired by suggestions to switch to Discord, I suddenly remembered what my day job is - I build websites! So last night I very quickly threw together a new private forum site, where nobody will be excluded for failing to post here in time, and where we can split the project up into several topics, so that all the people obsessed with the exact color of the Tantive walls can discuss it ad nauseum in a thread dedicated just to that topic, while the rest of us have the real fun reading about Turkey Sandwiches and the things that really matter.
Like the Legacy Site (which I also worked on), this one requires registration in order to see the Project forum. I’m still in the process of setting it all up, but if you want to head on over there and register, then we can start getting back to normal.

There are several users still awaiting approval that I cannot find profiles for here on OT. If you recall, I requested that you use the same username when signing up as you do on OT, that way I can confirm that you found your way to the site through this thread, you won’t have to think up and remember a new username, and there will be some continuity as the discussion continues.

Will, maybe I don’t get it, but after I registered, the site tells me that “Your account is currently awaiting confirmation. Confirmation was sent to [mymail].” But I didn’t get any confirmation, nor when I tried “Resend Confirmation Email”. Is it because my mail account is at a GMX host?

I never got a confo mail but I was able to login, so…
I run mail from a private server and it has only limited spam protection, so if a mail is sent to me, the chance I’ll get it is about 99%.
