“Verbal abuse” lol
“Verbal abuse” lol
Yeah fuck people who have different opinions and life experiences from Frink. They all deserve his sarcastic verbal abuse.
Hahahahaha!
I just feel bad for people who grew up with ROTJ instead of ANH or ESB, which are vastly superior movies.
I feel much worse for anyone who grew up with the PT.

Don’t force down your opinions of the films to others. His opinion is equally valuable as yours. Respect his opinion. And if you disagree then just have a discussion as to why he likes it and why you don’t.

Which part of “I feel bad for him” is “forcing down my opinion?”
Sheesh. You guys are amazing.
<Laughing!>
What kind of crazy world is it where joking isn’t allowed?
Good gravy.

I guess I sort of grew up with the prequels, but at the same time, they were over by the time I was four.
Not enough people read the EU.
I was gonna say “I’m sorry to hear that” but I don’t want to be labelled an intolerant asshole.

I wouldn’t care, nor would I blame you if you made that remark.

I know. /Han
Look at Planet of the Apes. Those are all over the place in tone, and no one’s angry about them.
That’s because everyone’s all but forgotten about the sequels. Does anyone give a shit about anything Planet of the Apes beside 1968?
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
Yes.

People seem to care about the new series of films.
Also the Troy McClure musical.
The Troy McClure musical is the only thing Planet of the Apes I give a shit about.
I like the third and fourth ones an awful lot.

Lol. My favorite.

Yeah, the third one has some endearing qualities. Four I think had potential but the gears didn’t all quite mesh. Five was just, well… And Two was pretty dumb, plus Heston kind of mailed it in.

I’ve been meaning to watch those eventually. Thought I should considering how much I love the original.
Edit: and the Troy McClure version of course.

While Empire and SW are definitely in my top tier, I’m surprised nobody here’s said Wrath of Khan. I always cry when Spock dies. Or is it taboo to mention Star Trek around here?

It runs second behind Star Wars for me. I love them all, the different tones are what makes it so appealing, and the continuity errors are amazing. Come to think of it…could the SW’s Prequels inconsistencies be a homage…?..hmmm…

Wrath of Khan’s a Star Trek movie?
As much as Batman Returns is a Batman movie. 😉

War of The Planet of The Apes is coming out soon so maybe you should watch the first two and if you like them you can top it off with the third.

Unless Wrath of Khan is a Star Wars movie I don’t see how it’s relevant to this topic.
