Ah sorry, I misunderstood. While all home video releases, and the 1997 SE had gray panels, the 1977 prints make it very hard to argue against them being green or lit with green light originally. Even most early production photos usually show the green panels:
The fact that the panels in the back are more neutral, seems to indicate the panels had different colors or the scene was shot with both red and green lighting.
hmmm funny… I grew up with the Home Video Releases of the 80s and early 90s -but- those green panels look exectly right for me… I think I have to check my old VHS I have no Picture in my Head of them beeing gray 😄
i was playing the video but the image was a still and i only heard audio does that mean my computer is to slow to play it?

Don’t know what new concern there is, but I 100% agree in general about this sort of stuff best being done on the down low… Doubly so we should avoid publicly dragging Mike’s name into anything that could hurt his efforts.

It’s alright I didn’t expect the thread to drop off the top of the list today, but hopefully it will over the next week or two.
Sorry to be so cryptic but Mike specifically requested that we “keep it in the pants” and I believe it is in everybody’s best interest that we comply with that.
The private thread idea is a good one, but is there a way to add members to the private thread after it is created? I don’t see one and would hate to exclude anyone. If somebody wants to create a private topic and invite everybody who ever commented in this thread to it - I’m happy to keep the discussion going. I know it would be helpful to Dre - the feedback on the colors has been most helpful.
If one of the mods could convert this thread into a private topic that would be even better.
