In retrospect I wish I had been involved more. I played Little League for a season, but was so bad I hated. I played youth basketball for my church, but got kicked off the team for being a trouble maker (Hard to believe, huh?)
Scouting worked for me for quite a while, then I REALLY got into basketball late in high school, followed subsequently by reconstructive double-knee surgery, eg: My b-ball career was over.
