i am a bit surprised. I don't know if any of you have been to the Arclight - but I have to say it's technically far surperior theatre than the Chinese. it's easily the best public theatre I've EVER gone to... not only is there someone to watch the 1st few mintues and ensure the print is *clean* and in *focus*, the sound is incredible and at a proper level, the seats are thronelike and reserved, and for the several films I've seen there the audience actually turns off their phones and doesn't talk out loud (which, to me, is worth more than anything else).

Having said that, seeing the last couple Star Wars at the Chinese with that huge crowd was a lot of fun. People totally get into it cheering and whatnot. Like when we see Leis kiss Luke and the entire crowd erupts into "ewwwwww!!!!!"
