I think she should have just stuck with the confusion due to Luke’s abilities. Crying sexism seems like she’s trying to compensate due to not having an argument.

Crying sexism because it is a female name is silly, crying sexism because of the way the female name is used is not silly.

I agree though most male Mary Sues are just called overpowered so there’s not a huge difference.

I agree with this. Male characters that are absurdly good are usually criticized by the people that care enough to examine characters, maybe not with the term “Mary Sue”, but they’re still criticized. Most male Mary Sues are in the action movie genre, and the average public really only expects dumb-fun from action movies, so they don’t really think about it. But if you sit down and examine action movies, almost all the leads are Mary Sues. TFA isn’t a dumb-fun action movie, though, so people do examine the characters and the story.
