I wish they would have made Leia a Jedi.

Leia being slighty Force sensitive but not a Jedi is one the best ideas regarding her character. Plus it would be very hard to find a stuntwoman who looks like her now to perform her action scenes…

Well I wouldn’t really want her fighting in the ST but it would have been nice if she undergone extensive training in the inevitable ST prequel novel/s. In the ST Leia could have been someone who mentored our new heroes on the ways of the Force, gave them advise about other matters as Force Users are perceptive and if put in a combat situation in TFA she could have relied solely on her Force Abilities. I don’t think many people would have complained about that. Especially Carrie 😉

If the blue alien is supposed to be Supreme Leader Snoke then I wish they would have stuck with that design. Far more visually interesting and original than what we got. They can still rectify this since we haven’t been the Supreme Leader in person.

Nevermind Snoke! Why wasn’t this fine lady in TFA? 😉

Where were you in '77?

George was obsessed with her for a now cancelled Darth Maul game set post-ROTJ. I wonder if this is a remnant from his treatment for Episode VII.

Even counting TFA, there are not enough ladies wielding lightsabers in the canon SW 'verse.

The PT era has plenty of Jedi ladies of various species.

Who appear on screen for less than five seconds each and have no lines and no personality to speak of.

And are you honestly recommending me to watch the prequels? On this forum?

“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”

Oh ! Ok, so you want “ladies wielding lightsabers” with personality… I missed the personality part in “ladies wielding lightsabers” 😃 (and what about their inner beauty ? and their interesting conversations ?).

And I don’t recommend you to watch the prequels since you’ve already seen them.

Actually it’s exactly what it used to be. You’re just older now.

Nope. I can attest to the fact that Nickelodeon’s programming has plummeted in quality over the years. Pretty much all kid’s programming has. Cartoon Network is just about the last bastion of quality programming for the younger set.

Nickelodeon had quality programming? I don’t remember that.

Late 1990’s and early 2000’s were the shit for Nickelodeon.

I want to agree, but that’s only because that’s exactly when I was watching it.

Exactly!

Look, I loved You Can’t Do That On Television and Double Dare, but let’s be honest, they sucked.

Hey Dude probably sucked too.

I’ve seen two of those, Spongebob and Rugrats, and…you’ve got to be kidding me.

You darn kids! I was watching Nick when Pinwheel, The Tomorrow People, and the proto MTV Popclips were airing. 😉

If I could rematch these and get past the nostalgia… I’m not sure I’d be too impressed.

The first three seasons of Rugrats are 60-70% as good as classic Simpsons.
