I wish they would have made Leia a Jedi.
Leia being slighty Force sensitive but not a Jedi is one the best ideas regarding her character. Plus it would be very hard to find a stuntwoman who looks like her now to perform her action scenes…
Well I wouldn’t really want her fighting in the ST but it would have been nice if she undergone extensive training in the inevitable ST prequel novel/s. In the ST Leia could have been someone who mentored our new heroes on the ways of the Force, gave them advise about other matters as Force Users are perceptive and if put in a combat situation in TFA she could have relied solely on her Force Abilities. I don’t think many people would have complained about that. Especially Carrie 😉
