Man. This episode may end up being one of my favorites in the whole series. I never thought I’d say that about anything PT-related, but there was just something about it that was as much a homage and goodbye to The Clone Wars series for me as it was a final (and fitting) end to the Clone Wars for the characters, too. It felt like a great way to deal with the PT from an OT point of view, to me.
I think Ezra figuring out what happened was a great path to take, as well. And the Super Tactical Droid (I forget his name) was actually a really good character, and I assume we’ll see more of him later on. Maybe he’ll build a new droid army that the Rebels will need at a pivotal moment?
I feel like bringing together the former enemies of the Clone War and showing them how they got played by the Empire was something that the Rebellion would do (after all, they’ve been shown using CIS and Republic ships and vehicles in various EU things before).
