Temple of Doom (1984):
This is a very polarizing one for me, I honestly can’t decide if I like or dislike this movie. The overuse of blue screen ended up annoying me more than Willie Scott and Shortround surprisingly, there is just too much of it and doesn’t hold up at all. This movie came out the same year as Ghostbusters and somehow the hilariously bad effects in that hold up better than the blue screen in this. All I can say really is that it isn’t bad, just okay.

The Last Crusade (1989):
As I was watching this, I was convinced I would like it even more than Raiders. Luckily the effects are very much an improvement over TOM (minus dogfight scene), the slapstick and humour also didn’t annoy me that much somehow, and although it does go too far in certain places I was still thoroughly enjoying myself watching this. A gripe I have is with the Knight character, I don’t know why he’s even in the movie. His purpose was to guard the grail right? What is his purpose if no one is even capable of leaving the Temple with the grail? To feed exposition? Ah whatever, anyway, favourite OST of the series. Comes close to as good as Raiders. Not looking forward to number 4, let alone 5.
