I wouldn’t call not appreciating death metal being “stuckinyourmindset”. I mean I like death metal but it’s a style of music that is simply going to sound absurd to most people.

I like a little Metal, but a very small amount.
Most people hate certain genres. It’s not an attitude or mindset (which makes it sound like I’m being unreasonable). I’ll bet you can think of a couple of genres that you can’t stand. Country?
I dislike certain genres sure but I would at least listen to some music from those genres before rendering a verdict.

Death Metal, and most of Metal, is not for me. I don’t need to listen to every band in a genre to know that.
A couple of albums isn’t too much to ask for. Hell, I even listen to a couple of albums from a band before I decide I like them and listen to albums multiple times before I form an opinion. For example I have listened to Dawn of Possession 5 times in the last two days.
