There has been some haikus on this forum lately, on the rankings and jokes threads. So I came up with the idea for the STAR WARS haikus. For those who don't know how to write a haiku, I recomend reading this first.

And here goes my first contribution:


Does Leia prefer
A military target?
Then name the system!

I heard that a teacher at my school spent an entire class period (40 minutes) analyzing the 3 line poem Tale of a Ball Turret Gunner.

That made me sick to my stomach, and from that day forward, I cannot adequately handle anything involving poetry.

I suppose its a shame...I was quite good an emulating Dante's style for describing the levels of hell.

here ill post a hiacku this was written for someone else, but i guess it works here too.

beauty unsurpassed,
gracefully steping down a,
wet wind sweeps brown hair,

here ill post other stuff i have written to.

Beyond creamy clouds
Fiery flames, elegant beauty
Explosions among the heavens
Roth of Gods Nature and Greek
Creation of energy
Setting mountains aflame
Dying, the seas crimson and gold
The setting sun.




Have I ever see you
Like a crimson crane, your lips
Like vast oceans, your eyes

Arson
If there's a building you wish to burn,
And home you should go in a bright bronze urn.
In hades your flesh will burn forever,
The pain and agony, ceasing never.

Forgery
If fabrications are yout transgression,
Then to bliss there will be no ascension.
For to the Inferno, you will descend,
And a penmanship class you must attend.

Drunk Driving with an Accident
If liquor and dope you foolishly take,
An accident you will probably make.
When you cash in, your victim will, with glee,

Actually Chaltab, in Tennessee and North Carolina west and east(respectively) of the appalachian mountians incest is illegal.

Its your own business what you do if you're one of them mountain folk.
