If you use free e-mail providers such as Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, and others, please be patient when it comes to receiving forum e-mails. They’re often delayed because the provider throttles incoming mail from our IP due to the (incorrect) perception we’re spamming you.
If you send repeated requests for password reset e-mails, activation e-mails, etc., you’re only extending the time it takes for those messages to get to you.
Yahoo and Hotmail are particularly strict for some reason, so we’re getting a lot of bouncebacks from them.
Avoid freemail accounts for the best experience.
