Color matching and prediction: color correction tool v1.3 released!
Time

Here are the images - https://imgur.com/a/miTtl

Top image is from player that can read the HDR info and give a watchable SDR image.
Bottom is from player that can’t read the HDR info.

HDR videos have different color space than SDR videos. I’m sure you know a lot more that I do about these. BT.709 and BT.2020 but does it really matter in this case of just using colormatch to do it’s magic?

Can colormatch be used in the following way to convert HDR to SDR (sort of)-

Play back HDR video on media player such as mpc-hc, it shows faded colors, take a screenshot.
Play back same video on mpc-hc with Madvr as the renderer which reads the HDR and gives decent colors for SDR, take another screenshot. Use those two screenshots in colormatch?

Sergio Leone Preservations - Dollars Trilogy, Fistful of Dynamite, Once Upon a Time in the West (Released)

Yes, daneditor

Rigby Reardon on avsforum.com (in 2009) made an avisynth script to use the US bluray audio and sync to the Italian bluray video HERE

That's what you found!

I have done the same for FAFDM as I said above. The Aluminum Falcon above has used my version and it seemed to have worked for him. I posted a how to on avsforum too HERE

I wouldn't be surprised that same thing happens with my script in the not to distant future!

Greetings

I'm new to this forum, but it looks very interesting.

I recently got the Italian Blu and the German Blu of FAFDM. Since there is no english track on the Italian Blu, I synched the German english audio track to the Italian video. There were quite a few cuts and delays to do this. I have an avisynth script that anyone can use to create their own if interested and they have both Blu's.

Converting MKV for use with Adobe Premiere Pro without re-encoding help
Time

Greetings

  My first post here!

I'm looking into Vegas and trying to find out an easy way to get avs scripts into Vegas. Just found this thread today on doom9 -

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=133313

Load the mkv in an avisynth script then do the magic with "Avisynth virtual file system" and "Pismo File Mount system" and everything should work. I'll be trying it very soon.
