This will serve as my spoiler review as well, so…

It was wonderful, but even the best has a little room for improvement. What would we do?

Certainly leave the cast as-is. they were perfect for the task. The WWI setting as well. It was clever though dark. The basic story and direction were great. Quibling about for something to improve…

Dial the Lewisian allegory up to 11! Bury the needle! It was by far the finest aspect of the story. Paradise until the Devil corrupted man, a war between the Devil and his angels and the Heavenly Host, Devil cast out to wander and corrupt… In the process, expand foreshadowing for Aries and the final confrontation and tighten-up the final confrontation a bit.

The queen and her sister tell their legendary tales. Aries and Hades and gods and demigods attack Olympus, who are greater in numbers but not furious determination, we learn that Zeus draws out all the powers of the gods including the fury thrown at him and in the form of lightening and in one last effort to prevent overrun rises up releases descends drained then withdraws from the world of men except to give life to Diana, Aries and his host fall, near death, might have died or brought back by Hades to wander very weak to rebuild strength that will become full before the next great fight,

Peace Pol offers help to Trever to convince council that it’s too dangerous without immediate armistice due to gas weapon, gives money but no office use and tells Trever that he will have Chief and the Serbian boy meet them at the Front. Chief tells Diana his story and Serb tells of being a boy in Sarajevo and being abused by soldiers and telling other Serbians (Diana learns that war was started by assassination of just one man earlier), Serb tells Trever Peace Pol doesn’t want gala interfered with, Diana horrified that men would continue after killing Luden says Amazons were right mankind doesn’t deserve help it will just perpetuate evils and great suffering, Trever takes sword up to his breast and says he should have what he deserves first if it is about what humanity deserves, Aries in form of Serb and PP and weakened form of original self, Lasso and we see images of Aries through the ages too weak to fight but as Chinese counselor to warlords and other shapeshifting forms whispering to great leaders for more war and for domestic strife American Confederate demonstrator…, needs to join power with Diana for greater world without humans, Dr Poison told Lude earlier that plane gas was on a timer so will cause great death even if doesn’t reach destination chief overhears, very brief talk Trever and WW can’t hear Aries rising in background it’s “gotta go I save today you can save the world I love you” and runs as WW has to turn back to Aries, WW asks Dr P if she can destroy all knowledge of gas and she nods yes, Diana absorbs power like lightening rises and releases and collapses drained of power like Aries was, In a non-descript office she says she used to want to save the world but learned humanity must want it and do it themslves or efforts mean nothing, Wayne security leaves past sign CAMPAIGN FOR HUMANITY AND JUSTICE, we see flashback montage she spent the last century without power going to peace conferences and truce talks whispering encouragement for peace to leaders and generals, until she is strong once again for the great approaching fights sees emergency on tv and jumps off building to swelling romantic orchestral very vaguely like WW theme

Movies are phony, but the ones that truly strike a chord are genuine in expressing and exploring some aspects of the human condition.

It’ll take years to recover from - even if it were started to be reversed today - but hopefully people will remember how austerity failed - and the true cost of it’s impact, both on people and services, for years to come…

If JUST Amazon paid the same tax as I did when I bill my customers, they would owe an extra 1 billion tax every year in the UK alone. Across the last 7 years, that is more than equal to the cuts in the UK Defence budget. So when someone tells me that humanity is worthless, or the universe is without meaning, I will cordially disagree. Life creates meaning through an exploration of the illusion that is the universe, for the more falseness we know, the more we can understand Truth, and ourselves. Self awareness arises from this relationship with falseness. It always changes, but its source is always the soul.

So in summary: Zero! (but isn’t that kind of heroic?)

I agree there are great problems in Randian philosophy. It’s essentially Social Darwinism with the belief that it will trickle down to improve the lives of the rest. The ZERO idea, while clever, strikes me as another desperate effort to avoid even considering the Creator. As science provides ever-more compelling evidence that intelligent life is beyond a four billion year span of this planet and/or a fourteen billion year span of this universe, more people turn to space aliens or Many Worlds speculation. Space aliens will be as unlikely as we are, and I’ve come to the conclusion that Many Worlds generates a Creator as almost a logical necessity.

Does human life have value? Does it require a Creator to have value?

Value is a purely subjective term in some contexts, or it can be objective within the context of subjective valuation. Value to whom? There are those who believe that it has no intrinsic worth to a godless universe, those who believe that only people who can make an important contribution to some socio/political/economic operation they prefer are worthwhile, and those who recognize that in order to have the lives they value valued by others and/or in order to achieve optimal conditions of decency and pleasantness, they must sincerely assign a considerable degree of worth to all relatively innocent human life. Once Value has been assigned to all of the relatively innocent, it is possible to honestly search for objective methods of upholding that worth and determining which are better or worse.

A creator’s existence and it’s wishes are independent of our valuation and so whether humanity has value for us might depend upon a need to please our creator in order to achieve the optimum desired conditions. If, as promised, God has a sense of justice and concern for creation, the lives of the half-decent will have value to us for that reason, if no other.

The statement “I do not believe in God” is as true for agnostics and people undergoing a crisis of faith. Ask an agnostic “Do you believe in God?” and he must answer “No”.

Pay for all this with the monies for Medicare, Medicaid, all other gov’t insurance, taxing the money for all private insurance, ending subsidies and a surtax to cover any deficit. Give all gov’t healthcare facilities 6-9 months to convert to private non-profit orgs that must be self-sustaining thereafter.

It’s universal, for most all people over the long term it’s 100 percent, personal responsibility of patients and doctors preserved and expanded, free market dynamic forces preserved and expanded…

Fearing God.
For a long time I felt great fear of our Creator and what He might do or allow to be done to us.

I found the realization that True Law must logically exist, whether or not God upholds it, to be greatly liberating. We then are bound to the Logos. If our Creator upholds It, we must be faithful to our Maker, as It is an aspect of His being. If he betrays, he’s not worthy of our faith.

What to do? Honestly seek Truth and Law with the confidence that underneath everything, we are able to distinguish. Feel greatly grieved when we fail.
