Nice! I've been wanting to see this for quite some time. I think that the P&S versions are interesting because they let you see a lot of details in close up and makes you feel really close to the characters.

That's exactly how I remember it looking when I saw it back in 1999. I can't believe how more Star Wars looking it was then than it is now in blu-ray. I love the grain and the warmer colours. Sigh, and to think, the sterile looking blu-ray is going to be the version people will remember from now on.

Why did they make the 1997 versions darker and less colorful than the original versions?

Hi, I'm really enjoying watching the progress you make and I'm looking forward to seeing the 97 SE versions restored, since they were the first versions I saw of the original trilogy.
