So it’s what’s on the OUTSIDE that counts? What’s on the outside? The DVD cover? I guess the DVD covers aren’t terrible.

"Pb&J, can’t resist me like a plain bag of Lay’s."The PBnJ line is funny, but the line before it is just awful. It’s lyrically lazy, you can’t rhyme a word with itself, that’s like the number 1 rule of rapping.
She was desperate, as were they all. I think she knew it was a pretty flimsy lie. Besides, they could’ve been flying through space for a long enough time to have made a stop to pick up Leia and more people for a diplomatic mission to Alderaan and she may have been pretending that that was the case.

I didn’t mind the droids’ cameo nearly as much the second time around. I still think it’d be better if they’d not have shown up until the end on the Tantive, but whatever.
I think I read somewhere that they retconned it so that he still had said family, and was allowed to because his species was endangered, so he was the exception to the Jedi celibacy rule.
But who cares if it contradicts that awful movie anyway?

Just got out of my second viewing. Still like it just as much. I actually liked Giacchino’s score a bit more this time. Walking out the first time, I couldn’t remember any music. This time, I walked out happily whistling it. He’s no Williams, but he did good.
Other than that, my opinion remains the same. Great fun. Now begins the wait for the Blu Ray release and my R1 + OT marathon! 😄
So I watched Doctor Mysterio last night after putting it off for a few days. I’m not quite sure how I feel about it. It’s definitely… something.
A most disgusting troll has appeared in the “Star Wars Pics and Gifs thread” and I get the feeling we may have quite a day of his antics and his likely inevitable socks’ antics ahead of us. For now, I reccomend everyone stay out of that thread, especially Frink, if it’s not too late.

In Rogue One, the characters were disinteresting at worst. In the PT, the characters were disinteresting at best.

Ugh. These sort of people drive me insane. This reminds me of the petition which vouched for the shutdown of rotten tomatoes because suicide squad and BvS got really low scores.

According to Amazon, Vol. 2 comes out next summer and will have #24-38, along with Annual 1 and more UK Weekly issues, so I’ll probably get that if I don’t get impatient and start hunting down the original issues.
I’ve been reading some of the old Marvel comics lately (got a big book of them for Christmas, just finished issue 12). Is it too much of a stretch to imagine that Crimson Jack got his ship from the Battle of Scarif in Rogue One?
Well it does fit Jack’s description of how he got it, so why not. It’s a pity it’s no longer canon because Jack hijacking a star destroyer at Scarif could have made a pretty interesting story.
(Btw, which omnibus is is that you’re reading? Hopefully it’s not one of those that stop right in the middle of a plot-line. The Doomworld story-line is fun, but in my opinion it only gets better from then on. All of the Goodwin/Infantino stories released prior to ESB are pretty great.)

If the first KOTOR ever got made into a movie, it would get criticized for being too much like A New Hope & Empire Strikes Back. If the second KOTOR got made into a movie, it would get criticized for not being Star Wars-y enough and boring.
So the obvious solution is to combine the two into one movie. That way it’s Star Wars-y, but still unique.
