Do I need to write spoilers??  OK, SPOILERS

Is ricin for lydia?  She is certainly a villain but from Walt's perspective I dont know how he would know that.  From what I have read ricin takes days to kill you and it's quite painful.  I am sure Walt is full of self-loathing in the flash forward but it doesnt seem like a great exit plan if intended for himself.  

I cant decide if he is going after the aryans just for revenge for Hank or if he found out they made jesse a cook slave and it is a rescue mission.  Maybe he only discovers jesse when he gets there and sacrifices himself to save jesse.  I think since the aryans let him go I cant picture them targeting the white family for any reason.

This episode was heartbreaking from start to finish, all of walt's rationalizing his terrible actions and talking his way out of everything came to a tragic end.  His goodbye call to skyler was about all I could take, give cranston the emmy now. Part of me wonders if the next two episodes largely leave the white family out, what else is there to wrap up?  I think walt understands now that he has destroyed everything and he cant be redeemed.  

it's remarkable how much this show makes you love and hate just about each character.

I finished it last night and really enjoyed it start to finish.  The music and voice acting was especially great, Amazon gave me the soundtrack for free and ive been meaning to listen to it.  I feel my only complaint is that it didnt feel as smooth as the uncharted games.  

You can start a new game with all of your perks and I plan to just rip through to keep the pace and story as tight as possible. I spent so much time sniffing around for stuff that I lost the sense of urgency that most of the sequences should have.  Not yet though, as great as it was it was pretty heavy and I need some time away from it.  time for a simple platformer or something.

I thought I knew how it would end when I reached the last sequence but was pleasantly surprised they didnt go that route.  That said, I also regretted Ellie wasnt given the choice because you know she would have gone through with it, I think any of us would have.  Joel was pretty damn wrong....he just wasn't capable of letting her go.  The game was just too dark to go that route.  

The gay porn thing didnt bother me, It rang pretty true to her character after the way Bill treated her, and to the way teenagers act in general.  I like to think that if Bill had been halfway decent to her she wouldnt have stolen the mag from him.  I realize it was implied that Bill was gay but I didnt really know until after the magazine reveal and I think that was the point of the sequence.

It's an interesting discussion, I like that Bill was gay, it wasn't necessary for the plot but it made his character much more 3 dimensional to me.  Sadly, gay people are the butt of easy jokes all the time in the real world, why not for characters in the last of us as well? 

does anyone else have a problem with part 22?  

ive gotten every other section but for some reason part 22 quits an hour into the download saying it lost the internet connection.  every other section was completed in 3 minutes.  ive tried it like 10 times

I bought GOW3 off of Amazon for the Apollo Skin and they give you a $10 credit towards a future game purchase.  today I logged on to see when it was shipping and it says the 22nd.....I guess ill be opening it up in April sometime

I played the God of War III demo on the District 9 BD.  It was all right.  Too gory for me, I'm afraid.  As a non-PS gamer for so long, I was afraid I was missing out on the God of War games.  Turns out the clones and copycats have had me occupied just fine.

I'm playing Uncharted as I mentioned above.  I like the game except for the combat.  It occured to me while playing- I shouldn't have to cringe everytime the room fills with thugs, but I do...  But it seems very repetitive and boring.  The exploring and the story are fun though...  Can't wait to see how they've fixed this in UC2.

We have a lot in common....

My POP story is the same, though the new one was a little simple in comparison I still enjoyed it and wonder if they are abondoning the story altogether or just taking a side-step to help promote the movie...we will see.  I think if they added a little more to the sequels the new incarnation could be really great.  Warrior Within was my least favorite of the old series but those chase sequences with the dark creature after you were thrilling...I keep hoping they will put them all on one ps3 disc in 1080p though I know the series doesnt have the following that GoW does

Uncharted 2 gave you more options with stealth so you didnt have to just blaze away as much but it did have its share of shoot outs.  I found that if you looked around there was always some way to clear out a bunch of thugs.  Ive never played shooters in the past (except for goldeneye) so I was in the same boat as you with hating the endless shoot outs but by the end of the game I started to enjoy it.  

I always check this thread but I feel it leans towards Xbox a lot of time and I have nothing to offer....(poor me)

Im a couple hours into my 2nd run of Assassins Creed 2, I enjoyed the 1st one (though I agreed with most of the criticisms) but the new one is something else alltogether.  I rarely beat a game and miss it so much that I just start over....did anyone else pick it up?  Uncharted 2 was also a stellar game from start to finish

I also lost myself to fallout 3 earlier this year....luckily I was fresh out of a 7 year live in relationship so I had a ton of time to sit on my couch drinking heavily all weekend so it worked out perfectly.  I was psyched for the DLC but by the time it was released my older sister moved into my 3rd floor and im too embarrassed to let her see me get that sucked into it so ive stayed away....too afraid of a fallout relapse 

Heavy Rain and God of War 3 look promising.....and ill be pretty psyched to play the new prince of persia in May

uncharted 2 is about as good as the reviews are saying it is...for all my ps3 heads

I just came across a video game deal at toys r us that is good until Oct 17th for buy 2 get one free, I just bought 3 brand new ps3 games for $120 bucks...

Uncharted 2 comes out tomorrow and ive pretty pumped, the first was really fun and the reviews for the new one have been excellent.  

I know im in the minority but ive pretty much enjoyed all of the tomb raider games (with the exception of Angel of Darkness), every time a new game comes out it seems like the critics tear it apart but I still end up having a good time with it.  I played underworld for wii and it was pretty fun and plan to get it for PS3 the first time I see it used for really cheap.    

I also enjoyed mirrors edge. I got stuck at a fight later in the game and moved to a different game (I think fallout 3) so I havent beaten it yet.  I plan to just go back and start over when im done Batman AA.  It could be frustrating at times but when you hit that stride its exhilarating....

c3px, I have batman AA for ps3 and I have to say its fuckin awesome.  I really cant complain at all, the controls are good, the fighting is fun, the stealth is fun, the acting is great.  the demo didnt do it any justice.   there are a lot of secrets and reasons to look around so it doesnt play too fast either.  you may need to run out and get it.

anyone with a ps3 looking forward to infamous?  it looks pretty dope to me

Thanks to maggot brain, octorox and move along...I used disk utility and it crashed mid burn again so I packed up my external hard drive and was successful on the work computer....I guess my burner is fried.

Can anyone help me?  These inspired me to go out and get a PS3(I wanted one anyway, I swear) and I still cant get a version worth watching.  

My IMAC G5 has failed mid-burn with 4 DL discs so I gave up on that (I was just burning the ISO right to the disc and burning like a data disc).  I then put the ISO right on my external hard drive and of course the PS3 wouldnt recognize anything on that (I guess I would need to reformat...Fats or something...whatever) so then I spent 40 bucks on a converter program (AVCWare Mac Video Converter) in an attempt to convert it to a DVD format so I could at least Burn it as a standard DVD on popcorn.  Well 10 hours later I converted it to DVD format but it only created a VOB, not the Video_TS folder that I had anticipated.  Popcorn wont recognize the VOB so I stalled on that.  I then just tried to put the VOB file on the PS3 because I read they can play those but the movie stutters and is cropped (not full wide screen).....I think I abused the green too much in my 20s cuz as much I try to research these things I just end up clueless and frustrated.   What generous soul can offer some advice?

Has anyone figured out a way to burn a standard DVD from these files?  I know the whole point is the HD but I wouldn't mind having a decent color corrected copy to watch while I wait for revisited.

Ive read speculation that the ps3 will come down in price sometime this spring so im hesitant to drop 400 bucks until that is confirmed or denied...

The Phantom Editor's version of Episode II (Attack of the Phantom), successfully removes the lightsaber fight between Yoda and Dooku. Dooku does some force-throwing and lightning, and then he just reaches over and causes the column to start falling onto Anakin and Obi Wan. As Yoda stops the column, Dooku gets away.

Seriously, any time Yoda has a lightsaber battle with a Sith, I feel like I'm watching the dali lama and Osama bin Laden have a knife fight.

really?  my version doesnt excise the lightsaber fight.  He explained in the commentary that he worried removing it would take too much from the movie and he ultimately kept it.  Ide be interested to see the version you have if that could be arranged.

Though honestly if he's the type who'd seriously decide it'd be a good idea to make TIE fighters in ESB white (the TIEs in SW are white only to resolve technical issues with blue screen photography: the fighters were originally supposed to be blue) then maybe he's not entirely the best sort of person to be helming a project like this. You'd think he would have done the research to prove him wrong.
