Hi all,
I’m not sure if this is the best forum to put this in, but I’m hoping that one of you can help me out.
I’m doing research to determine if an urban legend is true – that Yoda was modeled after some real-life people, including the Dalai Lama and other spiritual leaders. My only source for tracking down the truth says he saw a “making of” Star Wars show on the Sci-Fi channel between 1990-1993 where the design team for Yoda talked about these people they modeled him after, so they could give him an air of wisdom. Carrie Fisher was supposedly the narrator of this show. I have already watched “Classic Creatures: Return of the Jedi” and “From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga” and neither seems to contain the clip in question. It doesn’t appear to be on any of the special features included with the DVD versions of the trilogy, either. Have any of you seen this clip and know where I might find it, or do you think it really is an urban legend?
Thanks,
Christie
