Really?  Do you have a link that says the S.E. will be 40 minutes longer and not the same as the extended cut currently in theaters?

I'd heard him say there were 40 minutes he could add, but never that he was intending to do it.

Read my previous post and the website I linked in it.  Cameron indicated that the 45 minutes of unfinished extra scenes would be included as part of the supplemental features on the upcoming special edition, not edited back into the film.

According to a recent interview with James Cameron, the special edition set coming out in November will reportedly have over 40 minutes of extra scenes included in the supplemental section.  That could make for quite an impressive extended fan edit.  :)

Although a lot of it will be "unfinished" meaning it'll probably be missing a lot of CGI work.

Info Wanted: Walt Disney presents the story of... (Albums) - has anyone preserved them?
Time

Probably the only way you'll be able to get this is to personally track down the individual records on Ebay and preserve them yourself.  I used to have a few of these too.   Strange thing is that the only one I distinctly remember is Peter Pan, which isn't on your list.  Is that a complete list?  Then again, this is coming from a fuzzy childhood memory.  :)

No chance of offering the Jaws Biography special on a regular DVD or DVD-DL?  I don't think many of us would have the means to either burn or view the BD version.  :(

On a related note, did you happen to record the Biography Channel's similar recent special on Caddyshack?  I'd love to get that preserved on disc since it was a wonderful comprehensive doc on the making of the film and better than anything we'd get on a future Caddyshack special edition DVD/BD.

Info: UPDATE - a Con Air extended cut...
Time

In reference to someone asking about the Con Air extended TV version awhile back in the Waterworld thread, I just noticed a thread in the Home Theater Forum in which someone posted:

“Con Air: Unrated Extended Edition will be released on 5/16/06”

Check it out here - http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htforum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=237161

Help: looking for... 'The Living Daylights' - Workprint?

So that's the only difference? No extra scenes?

The only deleted scene I'm aware of was the flying carpet one included on the original DVD special edition. The workprint had no additonal scenes?

Tim, did you use the cover art of the new OT box set as the source of that art? It looks brighter and sharper than the other fan-made covers of Tom Jung's poster art. Do you have this cover available for download somewhere?

Some interesting news about Malcolm McDowell recording a commentary for a Clockwork Orange special edition:

http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htforum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=247048

This supports what I mentioned earlier in this thread about the rumors of WB planning special editions of Kubrick's films for 2006, with 2001 no doubt being one of them.
