Well the thing with this particular set is that NJVC got really picky and stingy about its distribution because of asshats selling it for profit on places like eBay. I don’t blame him a bit, but that’s why it’s only on the places it’s at.

And I completely agree, but as far as Mega goes, it’s a single point of failure or “control”. Especially given Mega’s past. Just a thought. You can’t protect against asshats by hindering the community that wants to enjoy it. Asshats will always exist, even beyond your knowledge. The Lego MF 75192 set had a custom stand built on rebrickable.com recently. People ended up listing up eBay even tho it’s completely free. I’ve never understood the choice of removing your media just because you don’t like people doing bad things with it. You screw over the people you meant to help making you just as bad as the people selling the media.

Just my thoughts, I still support a choice not to share by the content creator. I upload things to UseNet as my own archival process to protect myself. 6+ years of “free” “unlimited” unbiased cloud storage. Lol. These days usenet retention doesn’t shrink, everyday is another day of retention added. Gone are the days of retention wars.

No one is being “screwed over.” NJVC doesn’t owe us anything. We should all be grateful for the work he put into this and be grateful there’s a way for us to get them for FREE.

I think you guys are all misunderstanding LDS entertainment. They make it very clear that you are not being charged for the discs, you are being charged as compensation for the money that they spent to put the set together. Whether they are making a profit or not is impossible to tell (it is highly probable that they are), but selling artwork is not a crime, even if it is of copyrighted material. Therefor, LDS has done nothing illegal. The only issue is morality, which I will admit is shaky in this circumstance, but as far as legality, there is really nothing to worry about with these people.

Hi LDS entertainment!

Ha, I thought the same.

That’s because we are smart people.

Fantastic work, Stealthboy!

Question…i’m printing from a canon mx922. The outer text is being cut off a bit from the stock printing app. How do you guys print your discs? Tips?

I’m on a Mac. I installed the MX922 drivers, but I do NOT use the Canon printing app.

I use Preview to view the disc art, then I print from there. In the print dialog, I select the correct paper size (disc tray) and the correct media (printable disc). I had to create a temp image that has a bit of white at the top of the disc image, so when I print it it all lines up. It took me a few discs to calibrate correctly. So instead of just a square image with the circle disc label, It’s taller than it is wide because I have to put a white band at the top.

I will try that when i get home. Thanks!

The force is strong with this one. What software do you use? This has become a hobby and I’m leaning so much while browsing the threads.

I use GIMP. I’ve been using it since its release back in 1996. It’s like Photoshop but it’s free. https://www.gimp.org

I can provide you some .xcf source files and you can play around with them. Everything is just in different layers. The tough part is just making sure you get your print sizes right!

Fantastic job, Stealthboy. I’d love those xcf’s too if you don’t mind.

Hi, I’m new here and have just downloaded the 2.7 DE. I was wondering if you could help me out with a group of cases from a few years back. They are by michaeldc and the link to the case files in dropbox have a 403 error. I really like these cases. I appreciate your help. Thank you.

I’m not sure how to add a photo but here’s a link.

Anyone have a link to these?
