4K restoration on Star Wars
Time

I don’t know if this has been covered or addressed here yet, but recently I have been bombarded with Disney Movies Anywhere adds featuring ROTJ with the tag line “theatrical version” attached at the bottom. Curious, I read a few reviews which confirmed that it is not the original.
So what does this say about the future of the real Original Trilogy if Disney is now referring to the SE versions as theatrical?

Is there any way to get these without myspleen…? looks fantastic you did an outstanding job on these well done.!

PM sent. Enjoy!

And a Jedit: just for the record, the “you” being referred to hear is NJVC who created the set using Harmey’s fan preservations. I had nothing to do with the end result, other than enjoying the community’s efforts.

DAVE CHAPPELLE (Netflix original) (2017)
This two part live stand-up special is possibly Chappelle’s best. The first show is traditional stand-up routine full of laughs. The second is smaller and more relaxed and casual. Both have many great bits. If you’re even a slight fan, check it out.

Those were pretty awesome. Shame about Charlie Murphy though.

Better Call Saul

Did you just start, or are you posting this because Season 3 just started? (which i haven’t seen yet). Better Call Saul is almost better than Breaking Bad. it is a very good show.

I just finished season 2 last week, got to the end of the last episode and was like WTF!?!; only to find that yesterday the season opener dropped. But what pisses me off is that Nflx won’t release the whole season…I guess I am just spoiled.

As far as the show itself, I have been presently surprised, especially seeing characters from Breaking Bad show up. I rewatched that before checking this out. All in all, some damn fine television.

OT member Custom Box Set project thread

If you are looking for something a bit different, I came across this gentleman’s work on the Blu ray boards: http://jomasanra-digipack.blogspot.com.es/2016/04/star-wars-episodio-iv-una-nueva.html

I purchased his Bond stuff and will be looking as picking up the OT Digi-packs shortly. He lives in Spain does his products in Spanish as you can see, but will also produce them in English. I also asked him about creating some ‘extras’ for me to go with my set and he was happy to oblige. Please be aware that any transaction will be handled solely by him and his potential customers and that I cannot speak for his pricing/schedule, but my buying experience was without issue.

Ok, I have one that has been bugging me for quite a while, and at this point, I am not sure the movie exists…lollzzz

It was mid 80’s, possibly an HBO movie of the month, definitely low budget treasure hunt kids movie about a brother and sister (maybe) who find a treasure map and after some investigation, find a secret passage behind the fireplace which leads to some treasure and the girl whose death spawned the “legend”. If you haven’t seen the movie, I just spoiled it for you, but if you have, let me know…I would love to get this one out of my head.

thanks!

I would prefer physical media. When I said purchase I mean the cost of the media, a persons time and the cost of postage.

I’m pretty sure this is still prohibited.

I’m curious if it is. I feel as if I read somewhere that it is NEVER ok to pay for the fanedit itself but it is okay to pay for postage and cost of discs/cases. Nothing seems wrong to me there. Your just reimbursing a person for the supplies and effort of getting it to you. No money for the fanedit itself. Not taking a definitive side but just curious.

My understanding is that it is the profiting from the sale of the project that is the issue; a simple reimbursement for materials seems to be within the forum/community rules, IMHO…

Other thoughts?

Hello everyone,

Can someone let me know how I would get a set of these? I don’t have a blu ray burner. If they are available for purchase as final discs, please let me know. Thanks so much for your time.

They are never to be sold, period. Doing so would jeopardize the entire community. If you do not have a burner, download the iso files and enjoy them on your computer.

I hated Batman. I hated Gordon. Joker was fine but everyone went crazy over him only because Ledger died. I barely remember the other characters (granted I have seen it exactly once and that was eight years ago, but still). And _ender raises good points as well.

Gary Oldman was probably my favorite Gordon so far, but I can dig it. I also thought that the film’s mytique was in a way boosted by Ledger’s untimely death, as morbid as that is.

As far as _ender’s points, they all make perfect sense. I guess for me, that characterization of the Joker kind of fit his personality found in the comics, so it wasn’t as much of a turn off.
