started watching Stranger Things On Netflix, I am child of the late 70s and early 80s and the show gives me the feels big time . The kids on the show give an accurate portrayal of early 80s childhood .

That is an awesome show and was the perfect glimpse into the childhoods of our generation. Plus my kids kinda understand why their dad turned out like he did. Can’t wait for season 2.

Your favorite alternative curse words...
Time

Ever since my daughters were born, I have really tried to watch my language around them and protect their innocence; I figure they will only be kids once, right. But I am also the typical fix-it dad who smashes the occasional thumb with the proverbial hammer, so as a hobby, I try to come up with alternatives to my favorite curse words. Know some good ones? Post them for everyone to enjoy and use at their leisure. Some classics:

Sugar Honey Ice Tea
Shut the front door
Son of a biscuit eater

For fans of Conan The Barbarian 1982....
Time

It kills me when people post about how they have searched “everywhere” for links or create multiple threads about the same subject but can’t seem to find any of the posts about rules or how to go about asking for things like invites…it boggles the mind really.

I appreciate enthusiasm for a project or passion, but that behavior tends to turn people off in a big way.

Just got back from seeing GOTG 2 with the fam. Pretty good overall, but not my favorite Marvel movie. There were definitely some Man of Steel-esque moments, which surprised me a bit. Being brain dead won’t help you enjoy the film, but a sense of humor might, ;-D

What do you mean by man-of-steel-Esque moments?

Well, it’s hard to explain without delving into spoiler material, but when Star Lord was given his history lesson, it reminded me of Jor-El talking with Clark. Star Lord’s fight later in the film also reminded me of Supes and Zod a bit as they were crashing into things. I don’t think these were deliberate in any way, but just something that reminded me of Superman. Perhaps it is more of my DC fan side wishing they, Warner Bro’s, could make films on the same as level as the Marvel U films seem to have achieved.

Star Wars Despecialized Editions - Custom Bluray Set (Released)
Time

I used an inkjet Canon with fairly heavy gloss presentation paper: http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-inkjet-glossy-brochure-paper-180-gsm-150-sht-tabloid-11-x-17-in

I didn’t go too crazy with the covers because I knew I was going to use the Criterion cases, so for me, clarity was the most important thing. The slip cases and box covers I got professionally printed.

Jedit: That Everest 600 looks like a serious piece of machinery…
