I just did a quick search and yes they seem to include DVD only titles. I didn’t notice this before.
I think that might be a relic from when you could get the GOUT DVDs in the mail, which were pulled from the service for some reason or another.

And since Disney is pulling its films off Netflix we will probably see these on their digital platform

According to theForce.net, the true fans will accept only the official Lucas-versions as the real films and the rest are babies. Also the Prequels are better because Lucas liked them more.
They’re entitled to their opinions and we shouldn’t get caught up on them.
Also, wasn’t the first official Trilogy box set from 1990?
In '97 we got the special editions on VHS. New cuts of the films.
Seven years later, in 2004 we got the special editions on DVD. Again, new cuts of the films due to more alterations.
Seven years later, in 2011 we got the special editions on Blu-Ray. Yup, new cuts due to even more alterations.
If the pattern is to be followed, then we’ll get Star Wars on a new format and it’ll be something we haven’t seen before lol

Unfortunately, we don’t live in an ideal world, we live in Disney’s world.
And they like money, and releasing obscure cuts of one of the most popular trilogies of all time would give them
a ton of it. There’s something holding those cuts back. I don’t believe Disney is disinterested. I think it has
to do with who gets to make the most bank off of all the blue balled Star Wars fans

So does anyone honestly still think that when the time eventually comes to release the OT on 4k* that Disney won’t include a restored OOT?
I mean, to the layman, do the 2011 blu-rays look that terrible when upscaled on a properly setup and calibrated 4k display? People are going to need a reason to buy these movies yet again other than higher (but not necessarily perceptible) resolution and hdr.
Maybe I’m way underestimating the demand for a 4k hdr SE, but I feel like a lot of fans are worn out from all these changes and would prefer to simply watch these films as they were.
*probably no sooner than 2020 so that Disney can keep the profits from Empire and Jedi all to themselves.
The general population doesn’t care about the changes. A great number of them have never seen anything but the SE. They don’t even know what they’re missing, and their numbers are growing every day.
All Disney would have to do is market the theatrical cuts as all new never before released cuts and those people will have their minds blown
We have no way of knowing whether or not Disney has the power to release the original versions of Star Wars. Until they
say that they have plans of doing so. George could be holding them back, or FOX. Perhaps no one is holding them back, and
they’re waiting for the 9th episode to be concluded, so that they can sell this grand box set. Who knows. Not us
One last time, until 2006.
George can make all the changes he wants. Just label it as a separate director’s cut, not the only version that should exist.

eBay is absolutely laden with Star Wars bootlegs
The 2004 DVD box set has been bootlegged and is sold daily on eBay for like 22$.
These complete saga dvd sets are also being sold for like 35$ a pop and an official DVD complete saga set doesn’t exist.
Also, on fake Blu Ray and DVD complete saga sets, they always mislabel the rating for ROTS as PG

I find the whole Academy Award thing completely useless. Who cares about something irrelevant as Academy Awards. The only important thing is the current and future audience, for which these films should be preserved.
Especially since Disney and FOX have been banking on those special editions for nearly 5 years now. Like they really care.
