The English tracks are theatrically synced, not sure about all the dubs but for dubs, falling out if sync by one or two frames shouldn’t really matter.

The dubs are also theatrically synced.

Thank you very much to both.

Certainly, if it were not synchronized it would not be a problem. One or two frames don’t make a difference in dubbing. However, I have seen that CatBus has a repository that contains audios in both syncs: GOUT and Theatrical. Since there is no extra work to use one or the other, I just wanted to confirm that ROTJ 3.0/3.1 had Theatrical-sync, in case one day I need to add/remove audios (not at the moment, because CatBus confirms that v3.1 has the “correct” audios).

Greetings.

Hi Harmy!

I have returned to the world of Star Wars preservation after a few years disconnected from it. I found out about the release of ROTJ v.3.1 from your YouTube channel.

I have a question: Will all your new Despecialized +3.0 have Theatrical Sync? Are the embedded audio tracks the synchronized versions? Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I read something in the ANH v2.7 thread a while ago and hadn’t read more.

As always, thank you very much for your work. Your versions remain my favorites for image quality, color grading, and dubbing/subtitle accessibility.

So, I don’t really understand what are you looking for english audio ?

My unique doubt respect to your version is if the English Audio tracks are the same of “DreamasteredV2 official” (the versión of ‘MySpleen’), or was modified when you added the French Audio. I thought not but I wanted to be sure. Thank for facilitating access to the version.

@Paraginartop
From my reading of maxpower91’s request, he is looking for the version of the release print of ESB with one audio option–the 2-channel optical soundtrack.

Exactly. My question is if exists a version of the “Renegade Grindhouse ESB” audio (the original 35mm. 2-channel optical soundtrack) but synchronized with “GOUT version”, just like someone did with the Spanish Audio track on “Silver Screen Edition” (as @Williarob explained). Sorry for my bad explanation.

If the “Renegade Grindhouse ESB” is completely out of sync with the “GOUT”, its original optical track too, so my question is resolved. This is not a problem, I asked out of curiosity. Thank you very much for your help.

But that’s Latino Spanish, isn’t it? If he’s looking for Spanish, I’d presume he wants Castilian.

Not, not. I’m Spanish but i’m interested in the English Audio only.

Team Negative1 - The Empire Strikes Back 1980 - 35mm Theatrical Version (Released)

Hello everyone. First, excuse my English. I’m spanish (from Spain) and I don’t usually write in english Internet forums.

I’m collected all 35mm. prints of the original trilogy with the highest image quality, but I have a question about the audio (especially with ‘The Empire Strikes Back’). I have these versions with these audios:

Star Wars TN1 Silver Screen Edition v1.6 - Codec audio: DTS-MA HD English Stereo Track from Harmy’s DeSpecialized Edition (Hairy Hen?)

Empire Strikes Back TN1 Grindhouse (Dreamastered v2) - Codec audio: TRACK 2) 2.0 DTS-HD-MA [English] (1980 mix)

The english stereo audio of the two films is extracted from ‘Harmy’s Despecialized Editions’. I guess this happens because the “optical 35mm audio” is not synchronized with the ‘GOUT versions’. I wonder if exits a version of the print’s original audio synchronized with the ‘GOUT’. I suppose not, but the ‘ESB TN1 Grindhouse (Dreamastered v2)’ was obtained by a french tracker and I don’t know if the english audio is the same of “MySpleen versions”.

If synchronized audio doesn’t exist, it’s not a problem. The audio quality of the Harmy’s versions is excellent. Simply I would like to keep the print’s original audio if possible but with the condition of not changing the versions (or synchronize the audio manually). If the original audio is not sync and it’s impossible to insert in the ‘SS SSE v1.6’ and ‘ESB Dreamastered v2’, my question ends here.

Thanks.
