yeah, don't even bother with the 3d version. The conversion stunk.

I hate that too. It's just as bad ass seeing "a Comcast company" underneath the universal logo. Very interested in this. Pm sent.
fantastic work..
skynet edition was a hot mess indeed. From what I've heard there's a new release of T2 that although it's from the same master as skynet edition it didn't have the dnr applied or at least it was minimally used.
kk650 says he used the spanish release of t2 for his regrade which has a nice grain structure and from what I can tell no dnr. I'm betting that that version is the same as the one they just released.
I'd be interested to hear the answer to your question as well. Outside of his overuse of teal his movies look fantastic on blu ray.

I was unaware that "regrading" fixes that sort of thing.
I don't think anyone ever said it would. What I said and perhaps I should have been a little more clear was that the source used for his regrade is superior to the skynet edition.
Sorry if I causes any confusion.

More subtle than the others, but welcome.
Honestly, I see no effective difference in most of those T2 comparisons. And even for the ones I do see a difference, I'm like, eh...
The difference can really be seen between this and the skynet edition. Skynet edition was a dnr mess whereas the Spanish edition bluray has the majority of grain and detail left intact.
another one hit out of the park. I could def. tell the difference between your work and the skynet edition blu.

Careful now.
I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to imply.
kk650 doesn't like it when you refer to a release as 'definitive' - if you're referring to someone else's work, at least.
No reason for you to know about all that though, sorry for confusing you.
No problem man. We're all here on this thread to enjoy his work and there's no reason for a little misunderstanding get in the way of that.
You sure do love teasing us. Those are some great looking shots.

Hey kk650 thanks for the uploads on spleen, i wish you had done the theatrical cut of Aliens, as i think the added colonist and newt's family scene don't add anything to the film.
I didn't mind them but honestly it's the sentry gun scene that makes the SE worth it.

just saw this on myspleen. Will def. be downloading and seeding tonight.
I see you've done a regrade of the good the bad and the ugly. I'm sure there are a bunch of us that would love to see that up on myspleen also to see what you did with that horrible yellow tint. It def. would be appreciated.
I also second a vote for aliens.
Thanks for the awesome job you do fixing these movies.
Thank you makinbiscuits, very kind of you to say that. I'll see about getting the Good, the Bad and the Ugly up on myspleen as well.
Any time. It's always good to let you guys know that we do appreciate your hard work.
thanks again.
P.S. I just remuxed your Alien regrade with the DTS-HD MA, commentary and isolated score tracks from the blu-ray so this is now my definitive edition of Alien.
